Duncan Beedie
Duncan works just down the road from us in Bristol, and has illustrated some fantastic monsters for our Children's stationery. He's also an experienced animator and has worked on numerous projects for TV and web. He likes to get out and about with his dog Ivor, and attempts to be an exemplary Dad to his baby daughter.
Louise Cunningham
Louise has experience creating designs for the greeting card market, surface patterns, packaging, editorials, as well as series of colouring books. We love her retro style which fits perfectly in our Christmas Shakies range.
Stephanie Baxter
Steph is a freelance illustrator, Hand Letterer and consultant currently based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She works both traditionally with pen, paper & ink, as well as digitally, and has created some wonderful typographic illustrations for our foiled Shakies range.
Julie Fletcher
Julie has been illustrating for us for many years, and has created a large range of designs for both children and adults. She graduated from art college in Dundee and uses acrylic paints, coloured pencils and collage in her illustrations, which are lovingly created in her slightly chilly Edinburgh studio. Julie also likes screen printing, sewing and building on her collection of owl ornaments.
Katherine Hartley
Katherine graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2004 and since then has built up a wealth of creative experience in the stationery industry. She first illustrated for us many years ago, and we were delighted when she came back to design some new Shakies for us.
Klara Hawkins
Klara was born in the North West of England in a very pretty, hilly and wet rural area. She now lives with her husband and daughter in Surrey and most days can be found at her desk happily drawing pictures. Klara has illustrated a huge array of beautiful patterned Shakies for us, as well as a colourful range of children's cards.
Max Ososki
Max has been working with us since we moved to Bristol 12 years ago and has created lots of wonderful designs for us in her unique collage style. Her illustrations are created in photoshop using vintage materials collected from all over the world.
Linda Tordoff
Linda creates whimsical, painterly illustrations and surface pattern designs using a combination of collage, painting, papercutting, drawing and photoshop. We thought her beautifully simple illustrations and muted colour pallet were perfect for our grey bordered Shakies range.
Claire Shorrock
Claire has created a wonderful range of shakies cards for us, as well as some cute Christmas designs. She lives here in Bristol and since graduating from the illustration course at UWE she has been working on her first picture book.
Nicola Watson
She has created many wonderful illustrations for us over the years and her work can be found in most of our ranges. She works from her studio in her home in Manchester, creating colourful illustrations using a mix of painting, drawing and collage. Nicola loves children's picture books, patterns and textiles.
Ekaterina Trukhan
Originally from Russia, Ekaterina has lived and worked in London since her graduation from Camberwell College of Arts. She draws her inspiration from everyday life, mid-century illustration and the books she had when she was a child.
