1% for the Planet

We give 1% of our turnover to tree planting and environmental causes through the organisation 1% for the PlanetOur membership started In February 2020. Business members of 1% for the Planet commit to giving 1% of turnover each year to our approved nonprofit partners. To date members have donated over £170 million to environmental related causes which are certified by 1% for the Planet. We've been writing about the donations we've been making on our retail website blog on here. We’ve been producing greetings cards and stationery since 1997 and we felt it was time that we started to take responsibility for the impact on the environment our business has made. We are particularly interested in supporting causes involved in tree planting and protecting the natural environment. Our first donation was made to Avon Needs Trees, a charity set up to buy and reforest land in the Bristol-Avon catchment area, where we are based. |
